What is liquid silicone rubber(LSR) injection molding?

Liquid silicone rubber, also is called LSR, is relatively liquid, colorless, tasteless, safe and environmentally friendly compared with solid silicone rubber.

Injection molding liquid silicone rubber

The liquid silicone rubber is divided into two components A and B, and the ratio of the two is controlled into 1:1 by the quantitative device. Then it is fully mixed and injected through the static mixer into the barrel of the liquid silicone injection molding machine, and then accurately injected into the heated mold for molding.

Simple process of liquid silione rubber injection molding: There is no need for manual product extraction or even full automated production in the whole process, without manual intervention. It has many advantages, such as high product precision, high output, labor saving, material saving, power saving and so on. LSR can produce all products which produced by high-temperature solid silicone rubber.

With higher requirements for the environment, liquid silicone rubber injection molding's process will be more widely used. For environmental protection, there is no harmful substances  in the production process. And human contact is safe.

In the baby products industry, liquid silicone rubber materials are more widely used. When they are babies, they are relatively vulnerable, so the products used should be more reassuring. Products made from food-grade liquid silicone are softer and more comfortable, which can better protect babies and give mothers more peace of mind when they use them.
