What is optical liquid silicone rubber(LSR)?

Optical liquid silicone rubber(LSR) is an optical-grade transparent liquid two-component silicone material. Material A contains a catalyst, and material B contains a crosslinking agent. It uses a high-precision special injection molding machine to mix at a precise ratio (1:1) and then molds it at low pressure. The cured silicone elastomer has high light transmittance, drop resistance, low refractive index, low density, excellent heat resistance, designability, UV resistance, and yellowing resistance. The collection of many excellent material properties makes it widely used in indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures, smart car lights, consumer electronics products, and precision secondary optical components. Its continuously innovative formula breaks the constraints of different scenarios and is an ideal material for optical applications.

Why use optical liquid silicone rubber?
