Silicone oil is a clear, transparent, odorless, inactive liquid.   • The viscosity of silicone oil changes a little in a wide humidity range from low temperature to high temperature (-50°C ~ +250°C), making it particularly suitable for applications where oil viscosity is required.
  • Very low surface tension - easily wets the surface of various substances, imparting easy diffusion properties.
  • Physiological inertia - inert to any living organism with a very high safety profile.
  • Excellent thermal stability - Long-term use in high-temperature environments with almost no change.
  • Outstanding cold resistance - It is used in cold areas and maintains good mobility.
  • Excellent electrical characteristics - almost completely unaffected by temperature and frequency changes.
  • Harmless, low toxicity - Countless tests show that silicone oil is not toxic or irritating to skin or eyes, and is essentially non-toxic and non-irritating. If it enters the eyes, it may cause temporary discomfort or please rinse immediately with plenty of water.
  • Excellent hydrophobicity- easy to form, and very durable hydrophobic film.
 
Silicone oil also has mold release properties, non-adhesiveness, defoaming properties, thermal conductivity, flame retardancy, weather resistance, and polishing properties. It is easily soluble in organic solvents such as hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons but is insoluble in active solvents such as ethanol and methanol.
