Making candle mold silicone is similar to other handicrafts, but candles are easy to emit oil during the grouting and curing process, so the choice of the liquid silicone rubber should be made of liquid silicone with stable performance and no oil.

You can follow the four steps operation of removing the candle from the silicone mold:

Step one

Before you fill the silicone mold with wax, spray a layer of mold release agent (Vaseline or cleanser essence) into the silicone mold of the candle. You need to make sure the mold is evenly spread or sprayed so that it creates a barrier that helps the candle release easier after it's formed. Sure, when choose a release agent, you must select a release agent suitable for the operation of silicone; before pour the wax slurry, you need to use a hair dryer or an air gun to dry and spray/brush with detergent water.

Step two

If you do not pay attention to brushing and spraying the release agent on the details, especially the details of the texture, it will not be easy to remove the product after removing it. And it may cause certain wear and tear to the finished candle. For candles with particularly fine texture and complex structure, they should be sprayed with detergent water to remove. After brushing/spraying the release agent, dry the candle silicone mold with a blow dryer/air gun. Because the texture part is small, if using a paste release agent, it will not be effectively cleaned. And there will be a paste release agent remaining in the mold, and the surface of the product after rolling over the mold will be too smooth, which will affect the appearance of the product. Even you need to be repaired.

Step three

Keeping the lower wick still, you slowly pour the melted wax into the silicone mold to avoid the wax slurry splashing on the edge and reduce the generation of air bubbles.

Step four

After the wax slurry is poured in, it can be removed after standing for a few hours. According to the above operation methods and precautions, removing is relatively simple for you, and the candles will be more fine and beautiful.
